hi all,
One part of my work is to super-impose projects into aerial photographs.
Well I usually try and copy the camera parameters found in the EXIF part of the photo file...
But when rendering, many times the render is way too bright and even almost white, when compared to the actual photo.
How can there be such a big difference ?
e.g. I get a photo with f. 2.8, ISO 100 and 1/200... that's almost white when using normal sun with correct time and date and everything.
thanx!

It seems strange they actually used those settings for taking a daylight photo because it would pretty much turn white also in real life. Unless they also used some filters on the lens like an ND or a polarizer that removes some of the light, or the EXIF is simply wrong. 2.8, ISO 100 and 1/200 seems more like what you would use in studio lighting with a flash, not outdoor daylight settings. Besides why would you take an aerial photo with only a shutterspeed of 200 and risk some blurring? 2000 seems more appropriate to avoid any kind of blurring, even if it's a drone.
