Hi,

I am not able to create a spot light in maxwell via sketchup. I tried creating one in studio and it seemed to work but in sktechup I tried to convert a previous emitter from an IES to the new spotlight and they all just disappeared...but reappeared when I went back to the IES assignment.

I'm not seeing a problem, so please send (jeremy at nextlimit dotcom) or upload an example SKP.

Please check first, that the particular IES you're using is not one that illuminates in the "backward" direction; this could produce behavior apparently similar to what you describe.
