Everything related to Maxwell Render and general stuff that doesn't fit in other categories.

I'm using two nearly identical Mac Pro towers, running OSX 10.9.2 Mavericks, and the latest Maxwell V3 beta (3.0.1.0) with floating license.

I haven't been able to get the Node on my slave computer to be found by the Manager in my main computer. I've got a "valid floating license" running on both machines, which means the Node on the slave machine is finding the license on my main machine. But the Manager on my main can't seem to find the Node on the slave. I've tried just about everything I can think of regarding preferences for Network and Sharing. Both firewalls are turned off. Both machines are otherwise able to share files and see each others files.

Before the upgrade to Mavericks and Maxwell V3, I had both nodes showing up fine with OSX 10.7 and Maxwell V2. I upgraded both Maxwell and OSX at the same time, so it's hard to pinpoint exactly where the problem lies.

Anyone have any experience with this? Or ideas for a fix?

thanks,
Kirk

Yes. Same issue here. We have the RLM server running on a Windows 7 PC, and the OSX Mavericks workstation set up as a slave node. The Mac can find the RLM server and gets the license, but when we launch the render node it doesn't find the manager, and does not show up on the list as a node on the PC monitor. Not sure what else to do at this point.
