I have a problem that shows up every once in a while and I can not see any rhyme nor reason to it. I will start a rendering from a preset scene and Maxwell will render it with a much wider field of view than what the scene was set at. If I then just make a new duplicate scene of the one that did not work and re-export it from that view... it works fine? The problem is when I start a network rendering and walk away... I often come back and have a fisheye render.

Any thoughts?

Do you think it could be related to this? Otherwise, I'll need a SKP showing the behavior, since the plugin just gets the fov from the SketchUp document.

Maybe.. It seems like when you said hit parallel view and then go back to perspective, that may "reset" it the same way that my hitting new scene seems to "reset" it. I will experiment and get back to you.
