I saw that Thea has some sort of instance brush for their reference funcionality. I know you responded before that a tool like that is more or less the domain of Sketchup or modeling plugins. But I can see you could make a tool far better in combination with the instance referencing than what is available now in Sketchup.

Especially the Maxwel grass could be further exploited if it has a brush kind of placment tool. Maybe for trees and so on as well. Placement of people in a certain direction along walkways etc.

That's an interesting idea, and it might be more possible here due to SketchUp's inference system.
