backward compartible mxi file converter

its very annouing mxw 2.x cant open mxi files made in 2.6
a simple mxi converter whould be helpfull or an option to save mxi in format 2.5 2.0 ....

Seeing a list of changes for 2.6 I doubt if it's possible. Anyway, even if it is, it wouldn't be a simple converter.
