I'm using Podium 2D image trees. They face the camera, but often this doesn't work out for shadows, casting a thin line. So, I'd like to make an invisible copy rotated 90 degrees. I'd like to make this object invisible but still cast a shadow.

Is it possible?

I think you may get what you want if you enable Hide From Camera on the geometry you wish to hide.
