Any features you'd like to see implemented into Maxwell?

There are plenty of different approaches to the layout of the "Color Picker". Maxwell's solution is as good as any but there is one thing that's been awkward for me from the start and that is the fact that the triangular swatch rotates, this has the unfortunate side effect of putting the dark & light hues in different positions for different hues.

I was wondering if we could have an option to either have the triangular swatch rotate (as it does now) or have the Hue ring rotate instead. My preference would be for the triangular swatch to be fixed in position with the Hue in the top corner, black in the lower left corner, and white in the lower right corner. We would then click & drag the Hue ring around to get the color we wanted in the triangle.

After all this time, the current system still feels a little non-intuitive to me.

Cheers,

This is the best color-picker I've ever used because it shows the actual colors available instead of creating false options to maintain a geometric fallacy(the triangle and ring or a box):

It's based on the Munsell color system, unfortunately I think the company may be in trouble as they never released an updated plugin for the newest Photoshop and InDesign.

Best,
Jason.

So, is this a known issue?

Thanks a lot for your response, I will update and […]

did you tried luxCore?
