When "faking" a projected view by setting a huge lens length, I get this "zommed out" effect in the render...
As you can see, in the viewport, the framing is fine.
I used to do this all the time, and now it craps on me suddenly...

What am I doing wrong ?
Will there be a more elegant way to do those projected views in the future ?

Cheers,

It seems that this was due to the value I chose for lens length : 100 000mm
Setting it to just 10 000mm made the trick work again.

Would it hurt Next Limit's unbiased feelings if it was possible to render a parallel view without any workarounds ?

Newer SDKs (Maxwell) have some functions designed to help me emulate Studio's 'fake parallel' views, but I have not begun to try to integrate them yet, since I basically have to rewrite the whole camera-handling part of the plugin, due to V5's new two-point projection modes.

On the question of having actual parallel projection cameras in Maxwell, you're really asking the wrong guy. :)
