Nope, i'm pretty sure Modo Fur is created at rendertime. I hope they'll add a meshing feature in the future, even if it's not as good.

True, hair in 401 is rendertime only and it's unlikely it will work with any
3rd party engines with a Modo plugin. Unless ofcourse someone finds a
way to work around the problem.

I think modo would need to implement the option for conversion to geometry before this would be possible and even then you'd be dealing with a weighty amount of polys.
