but your red screen seams to be graphic card related.. is it just red..? I mean everything still working..?

Yes, it seems that graphic card related. how about the driver update ?

If he uses the latest driver it could be a good idea to downgrade the graphicscard driver to the previous one or a even older version where it used to work.

yeah, I'm running two monitors... it went away yesterday without me doing anything.... (I'll check the link though )
