Hello! I haven't posted in ages in the WIP section (years, actually) but here goes a an idea that I quickly wanted to try out...

Apart from blurry reflections and "unlimited" bounces there's not much Maxwell specific stuff in it, but anyway.
I'd like to get some suggestions to improve the appeal, to get something that could go on a children's room door you know?

Agree completely! I love him, he's my favourite cartoon character, just plain cute and nice!

I think the idea is really great. You just need to enhance the environment and materials.

I agree with Tom, really like the idea! I would love to see a version with carved letters also coloured!

Thanks Tom and Mattia, I hope to find a bit of time on the weekend to apply some nicer materials - was thinking something like in the pic below for the letters. Also will try the coloured carvings, not quite sure how to implement it in a realistic manner, i.e. mirror surface / carving. Will see...
