Be suspicious. Conservation is logical - a perfectly wise and worthwhile goal. But I'm telling you...when both government and big business come knocking at your door selling something that looks an awful lot like religion...you better hide your kids, hide your wallet, and load your shotgun. In that order.
No doubt about it ... they're selling a sustainable future where they can maintain a sustainable swindle of your pocket. lol ... I mean, ..come on ... if the future is looking more and more like some Mad Max Welcome to the Thunderdome scenario everyday--- even TPTB would probably find themselves averse to such conditions. lol.... ...even if they do have all the power/money. Is that the world anyone would choose ?
You know ... Google's whole thing, .. "Don't be evil". Its nice, ..it sounds nice and it's even nicer if they actually follow along with the sentiment and stay the course. But power corrupts and it's been said that
absolute power corrupts absolutely. So the question is: Will Google actually be the first to break that paradigm ?? I don't know .. it can't be good when a single entity is demonstrating the capability to index the entirety of EVERYTHING.
.....can it ? Hell no, I say ....
