Using the daylight system I manually positioned the sun to shine through a window. but the render results dont look right. Does it only recognize specific inputs?

If you mean that you used MAX's daylight system, then the answer is,
No, Maxwell doesn't recognize Max's daylight system. You have to use Maxwell's long/lat and date/time from the plugin or studio.

I won't sign it, if it is not a piece of art.. So far, I haven't done any...
