Hi friends.

I have a client who want me to model some furnitures, and he want me to deliver the models in .3ds. Is there any problems converting from Maya to .3ds? Can 3d Studio Max import .obj?

3ds and obj both import fine into Max, although everything is triangulated. You could also send them as fbx.

Obj is better than 3ds anyway. I think you can choose if you want the obj to be triangulated on import or nto.
