well, thats a brilliant image :) no doubt - but to compare would be nice if the scenes were identical (as much as possible considering all the differences between beta/1.0), with the same render time. sss for the lamps for example, makes such a huge difference. In any case, beautiful images :)

First image (beta) is definitely looking more phtotorealistic to me .. but might just be that settings have to be tweaked some to get the same look and feel in your the V1 versions? Excellent stuff

The only thing I like better in the beta image is the floor material.

Otherwise the version 1 image is much better IMO. Way shorter render as well.

I can't believe you let that one go for 266hours. Holy hell.
