You only have to go to the perpective 3D view and Save as 3DS! then choose the unite value...

here the steps:
- in Archicad you must turn the 3D window on, in perspective.
- then save your model in .3ds format.
- in 3D Studio you have to install a plugin for Archicad import (http://plugins.angstraum.at --> Archicad import wizard)
- use the instructions of the plugin
- enjoy
