Of course it will, but Tiger is not 64bit.
I doubt that a 64bit macOSX will be available anytime before Leopard is released (june?), since compiling properly in a stage where the OS is not stable is not so easy. As a side note leopard has been delayed for coding issues and to focus on the iPhone (hopefully is not going to be a vista saga!)...

Frankly I wouldn't expect *any* OS X application to go for 64 bits before
fall, and I'm sure that if you develop cross platform it will take another
couple of months just because the libraries they use have to be ported, too.

How many 64 bit applications do you own for OS X? Probably none.
Before Leopard not even the OS is seriously 64 bit capable.

The 1.5 release will probably make the 4 GB barrier for an application much
harder to touch...

The only thing a 64bit system is going to do for you is give you more ram, there probably won't be any speed increase.

Yes, Win 64 and Linux 64 will be released with v1.5 (we have also tested Maxwell in Vista 64 with success). As soon as Leopard is released we will port osx to 64 bits.
