I think you don't understand either concept if you think they apply to anything I've said.
I think it was quite obvious he was being sarcastic and poking fun. Try not to take yourself so serious all of the time Frances. I practically hear the Saturday Night Live Debbie Downer music every time you post in a thread. WOMP WOMP WOMP!
You shouldn't let that stop you from reading my posts. Sometimes even PITA's know a little something. 8)

It seems that they only can swap one material for this first version of swap.
and it can't swap an opaque material by dielectric material.

But yes, it's a very very savetime and usefull technology

For sure development is fast on the other side

Really impressive!
It might be nice for some, but it's not something i'm willing to pay another 500 euro for. It's not a cost i can justify, atleast not now.
INDEED, but I am sure are many suckers out there, but then again if NL doesn't reinvent the wheel for V2 I may be one of them...

All of the updates I have seen have introduced biased properties to the Fryrender engine and render output. I commend NL for sticking with the "physically accurate" approach. That's what brought me to Maxwell in the first place. If I wanted a biased renderer, there are much faster engines out there than Fryrender.

Although, if you don't mind these techniques they employ, you can get really beautiful renders from Fry. I've seen some great ones.

Sir, could please point out and name the "biased" features in Fryrender please?

Sir, Maxwell doesn't even have physically correct glossy reflections/refractions.

Sir, don't argue

Sir, put on your straight-jacket......

Sorry Bubbaloo but it's really funny :)

I think the tool is great! I am pretty sure NL is watching very close.
However I though the real time refered to navegate the scene in real time. It that random control all about or I missing something?

after read more closer, it's not so easy because to can use swap, we must do 3 more full hires renders almost noisefree.

I thought ,one time you made your render , you can change unlimited times your material without make additionnal renders , but it's not... so: One original render + 3 others..., it make many hours and steps just to can change one material...
