It wasn't meant sarcastically. :) I guess there are less cool 3D companies in the Netherlands.

My occupation is about generally desktop publishing and I dislike designing those silly pages for customers. For example they always want big fonts, you can't use thin characters, strange colors.... In short they are damned. I'm just occupied with this for staying alive. Because they even don't understand the benefits of 3D, so my boss. I hate all those things going here. There are lots of hates to talk about but I bored to tell them also. Here, everything works with "winks" Metin. This is reality. You must be someone's someone to achieve. They are not interested in what you're doing. They are just interested in how much they pay. Less money and having more benefit from worker is the best game they play. Leeching! So I don't play... It was working for them when I was young but now I'm more clever. For example my boss doesn't know anything about this scene and he even doesn't know I'm doing all these. He just know I can do 3D graphics but years ago for some time he wanted to sell this stuff free beside some cheap work and I'm done there. So, I no more draw any vertex for their dirty jobs. Think that I'm still using Geforce 4-MX400 64MB at the office and the boss says it's enough. Huh! Also, there are no cool 3D companies here as you think or I just don't know where they are. Of course I would like to work for some cool guys but I don't believe there is one in Turkey. I just see Giraffe once on the net... I think she's mostly in architecture. My aim is not draw buildings for some fat a**es here. Ask the architects in Turkey. Do you think they are satisfied with their job and customer relations. Man, the construction business is very very damned I know. I bet I can't put one more brick onto it. Maybe I would be more comfortable if I work for broadcasting media but they don't give not much money here. I looked for some job around and even a private TV channel could give 800 dollars per month. This is awfully low for the job. And for most cases it's the same in all around the world.... In the end, I'm desperate and waiting for my end. I'm happy of being master of myself.
I think.... I create... I do... just for my pleasure. This is the real fun of living! :D

You're doing one great render after another, Tom. It would be a true pity if you will have to keep doing work that is dull and not related to your 3D talent.

I'm a 3D freelancer in the Netherlands. I can make a living out of it just because I've got not much overhead (no expensive office space, no employees, etc.). But working for myself still usually wins from working for customers, because deadlines are simply killing for the quality of an end result.

Cheers,

Metin

Inspiring work Tom, you have all ways been a true master of visual artistry design. Hang in there. I live very far away from Turkey, but have similar experiences as you, i just can say that sooner or latter good and wonderful things will happen for you and your family. Good things came for those who have a great heart and helpful soul.

Best regads.
