true, and it doesn't really change the fact that he's one of greatest players out there. headbuttings or not.

oh, come on guys! if you only did play football just once you know that nothing can ever barely justify such an act, period.

Materazzi should play politics and not football. Sucker.

is not the first time that zizou behaved like that and was sqaulified.. once was when he played for Juventus (italian team) so is not just a question of what materassi said.... he has got a very bad temper...
....french people are laughable in defending him....

they're not, I'd defend him myself. he sure deserved the red card, but that headbutt wasn't really meant to hurt. it wasn't, say, a mean blow aimed at the nose, rather a quite gentle shove on the chest.
it sure is a pity he had to go out like that, and I feel kinda sorry for him, but I can perfectly imagine the pressure he had on his shoulders that night. stuff like that may happen, it shouldn't happen, but it may happen.

sure materazzi is taller, zizou must have thought: "I have to hit him first".

i would like to see what had been the comments if an italian player had behaved like that....and repeat he did the same in other occasion where the pressure was not so high....
pelè .. even maradona didnt make such gestures
that said i dont want to crucifix him...
besides he damaged stupidly his own team...

too bad!
LOL

but, i mean, anyone remember when Zizou tried to castrate some poor player from Saudi Arabia with his shoe a few years back, world cup?!? Suspended for how many games? Even in Madrid his passion for the occasional K1 style head but has been put on public display lol...

One of the greatest players of all time, but can be a bit nasty nasty... :)
