This Marcos Novak dude looks to me like your good 'ol Deconstructionist type. Just throw up a bunch of crap lines, squigglies, and blobs and then defend it against "those of us who don't get it" with 5 dollar words and thoeritcal terms that are so subjective that they leave no room for discussion.

And it sounds to me like Kristi has drunk the Kool Aid...hook, line, and sinker as they say.

Jotero, I love your latest round of mathemodels and the 3d scan in white and red is phenominal! And of course, I am always pleased with "red" studio shots of anything!!!!

<------see avatar!!!

Fantastic as ever and always delightful to see your work!

I really love the twisting torus form!

I am starting to see more complexity enter your models and the structure is begining to become very architectural.

I am not undervalueing jotero stuff but everyone of us understands that those mathe objects are directly comming from a tiling sphere, and are mere symmetrical or central nurby objects.
Maybe Jotero loves it but there is nothing further on it on expanding and so. Stuff I showed you was the new script algorythmical architecture and guess people still can't see it clearly, but these are whole ambients and envrionments complex geometry ried together by the sense of architecture and design. Look at http://www.xefirotarch.com/ or www.oosterhuis.nl

Since you are expert about 3Dscanning methods i have a question for you.
It exist a 3d scanning system that works in following way?

You film your object with a common CCD camera from all sides. If you need more detail in a region you simply zoom to the intersted part.

Longer the film more exact the result.

You load the movie in the 3D scanning software that tracks the moving pixels (like PFTRACK or Match Mover but with much more tracked pixels).
The software builds the 3D data cloud and convet it to a 3D mesh.
UV maps are automatically created.

It exist something similar?
Here a demo of the software which I use QTSculptor v. 2.5 (40 MB)

mean scanners has I from here: http://www.polygon-technology.de/
