Man, what a tournament and final. Spain played a beautiful match.
On the US vs Everyone else topic of my favorite sport... Despite the snide comments so commonly tossed into the fray by so many of my unenlightened countrymen, US "Soccer" is gaining popularity at an incredible pace. It won't be long when the shear "numbers" of players in the US will combine to generate a dominant world-class team.
I coach my 8 year old boys team... and my wife coaches my 5 year old daughters team... and what I've been able to teach them to be able to do with the ball is 10 years ahead of what I was taught when I was their age. My 5 year old is doing the scissors move and learning the Kryuff!!!
