If you try to use a 3D procedural texture as an emitter by applying it via HDR image then Maxwell ignores the concept of 3D world coordinates and only applies the emitter as a 2D image using UV texture coordinates.

This has been the case for a while now, and if it's expected behavior I'd suggest it shouldn't be. I would like to be able to use 3D World coordinate textures as emitters.
