We desperately need more freedom when setting the network manager.

Instead of relying on the network manager to detect devices in your network
It would be much more useful if you had a wizard where you could choose
a server (by IP address) to choose where exactly you want the render jobs
to be sent to.

Makes it possible to render on Cloud servers and save cash

A programmer working single handedly has done it on Mitsuba render
so why can't we have the same in Maxwell?

it's probably because your Renderfarm company friends wouldn't like it !!!
But then your user base could possible multiply though.
