Hey everyone,
We are pleased to announce that we have released an update for Maxwell Render 1.7.
This update fixes a number of bugs and issues in Maxwell Render 1.7, including problems with network rendering in Mac OSX. SSS with instances is working now, as is SSS with MXI/ HDR emission textures. For a complete overview of improvements, please go to http://www.maxwellrender.com/index.php? ... ll171.html
Please note that for this update we provide two different downloads: a small 1.7.1 file for those Maxwell Render users who already have version 1.7 installed and just need the patch; and a complete 1.7.1 file for new users or users who have an old (pre-1.7) version of Maxwell Render installed. Please make sure that you download the correct file. Both files are available from our current customer download page.
