I use my scroll wheel for scrolling. When I scroll in a window with a numeric text box, I inevitably change values and move my objects around in the scene. While I understand some people may like it, this is fairly non-standard behavior for both Windows and OSX- the scroll wheel is normally used only to alter the display, not to edit data. I would prefer to be able to disable this behavior via an option in the preferences- this should be a simple and fast change.
