Hi guys

I am using HDR Light Studio 3 to set up my lighting. I use Fire to tweak everything and then start Maxwell Render to get my final image rendered.
The weird thing is that the results a quite different. The rendering from Maxwell Render is way to bright compared with the preview I get in Fire!

Anyone has the same issues or an idea what is wrong here?

Thanks

Hi Jason....

Well, I am not allowed to show any of this stuff.... sorry.

But I checked my IBL channel settings and everything is as it is supposed to....

A while back someone on this forum had the same issue but without the use of HDR Studio. Maybe it is a Maxwell Studio to MAxwell render issue?

Cheers from Munich

Jason....jepp using 2.6.10

For some reason I can only use HDR files to render my scene. EXR does give me a error message.(Not supported file format....!!!???)
And yes, I did open and render the scene directly in Maxwell Render, same result though. I also found that by using the HDR from HDR Studio the acrylic glass I am rendering seems to be much more noisy and does not clear as much as it does using just emitter planes from Maxwell Studio. My white glossy plastic does also have some issues of clearing up....

I am now trying to get the overexposure issue solved by recreating the HDR in HDR Studio avoiding to much difference in the peak wattages. Maybe that will also get rid of my noise issue...

Keep you updated!
