I am a new user to Maxwell and am still immersing myself in the learning process. I would like to purchase a bound hard copy of the manual is this possible through next limit ? Maybe it's me but i am much more comfortable reading away from the computer. I am aware that the manual is constantly evolving but the basics should remain the same from what i see in the maxwell roadmap. Has anyone else used a 3rd party to prepare them a printed manual with good quality double sided colour pages ? I am looking for recommendations so i can have a book for essential reference.

Okay i just got a quote to print it in colour on middle quality glossy paper at A4 size 140 euros ! That is without any form of binding. So i simply printed it black & white on plain paper the price was 12 euros with binding. I do support the green ethos of not printing material but in this case i am sure it is justified. Now i can read it anywhere without burning fossil fuels for electricity ! The only other option was to get an ipad although i think this may be overkill.
At least in the future no one will say RTFM to me !

I printed a b/w copy here at work some time ago and had our print room put a simple binding on it. It's about 1/2 as thick as a typical text book I'd say. It was very helpful in order to get through the whole thing once. Since that time I haven't used it much though as it's easier to open the PDF and do a word search for thinSSS or the like, rather than find it in the book.

a long time ago you could get the manual printed (not quite hard back but spiral bound) by lulu.com http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/view ... =1&t=23836 but it looks like this is not available now. I think lulu.com can still print from a pdf but you'd have to check with them. I did get it printed way-back-when and although I rarely use it now, it certainly was useful when I was starting to learn Maxwell.
