In Studio I've noticed that render in viewport slows my computer to a CRAWL compared to doing a render in Maxwell Render....I'm just curious what different is going on that makes this happen (It's definitely not a computer speed issue, as I have an Intel 980x with 24 gigs of ram). If I do a render in viewport it slows down the computer to the point of my mouse skips around the screen when moving it. This doesn't happen when I'm doing a render in Maxwell Render using all 12 threads so I'm curious how each render method uses system resources and if there is any way to optimize/upgrade my system to use render in viewport better. I use Fire alot, which works amazingly and flawless, but in some situations the viewport render works better for my needs. Thx.
