I cross with a problem now, I had to uninstall MaxwellRender 2 and then when I reinstall it all my materials preview icons on windows are missing. , There is a way to fix this?
I'm on Win Vista 32.

Try this:

1. Start > Search> type 'cmd' > right-click cmd.exe and choose 'Run as Administrator'
2. type: cd c:program files\next limit\maxwell 2 and hit Enter
3. type: regsvr32 maxwell.shell_x86.dll and hit Enter
4. reboot the machine
