i am struggling a bit with getting the right sun intensity from HDRs.
V2 handles HDRs much better, but under certain conditions there are still a lot of fireflies showing up...
( i am using Hyperfocal HDRs)
how would you try to limit the intensity/brightness?
i am aware of the "quantize" filter in HDR shop.. but it basically kills all hard shadows, and specular highlights (from the reflection channel).. and makes a rather dull atmosphere.
now i could load them into PS (cs4) too.. but what would be the correct way to only clamp the troubeling range, without loosing the capability to cast shadow?
any tips would be much appreciated!
thnx,
daniel
