Renato...what collection would this be? He looks VERY real. Great job on the render. Joe

did not cross my mind that "lowpolygon" was actually the name  ...I can see why there's only one of those...people can get expensive  (although MUCH cheaper than having to model myself  ).

@numerobis: I'm replacing the textures in my "Maxwell House clay model" with Arroway textues...starting to look much better already 8)

Max,
your silver material looks good, a bit diffrent, (gray) would like to see used on a jewel and see how it looks !
may be a two tone band will show. 0.925 silver will take higher polish as its mixed with alloy. the circular surface scratches can be refered as paper scratches, this circular scratces can easily be seen on a plain glass counters or a 0.800
silver cup. As jewellery material gold, silver platinum etc cannot be without scratches, fine scratches would make material look better.
many thanks for sharing.

max- i'd say stop right there with that version -- your silver really looks like something you'd get from vacuum plating -- ya know, plating plastic parts with a metal -- probably not what you are necessarily going for, but it really does have that unique look.

So, for now this is my last dirt test. :) In this case it is an old minerva statue.

While drinking coffe this came into my mind. No paticular inspiration. Just wanted to get some practice on setting up a scene and render it out. The displacement is a bit to high, the marble looks to clean and some kind of spoons are missing.
The scene just looks boring..if someone has an advice on setting up this kind of scenes for product presentation let me know. :)

I sort of want to see one of the cups broken into about 20 pieces. Not sure why, just seems like it would go well with the hard stone and nice reflections and add some chaos to the scene. Maybe the word EDGE could all be on one piece closer to the camera.

I like it. Nothing so boring about it ;)
I'd pour some coffe into one of the cups and the correction you mentionned about the marble. The porcelain looks great!

Hi

I'm a Modo user from germany and since v2 i'm also a proud Maxwell user. I made the following picture for a 3d-battle in a german forum, the theme was "Rust". This is also my first picture for Maxwell that is not a rerender of an old scene. I hope you like it.

Cooked for only 10 minutes, Maxwell v2 is so damn fast.
