Well the announcement was hidden in the Case Study on CGChannel. Citing: "the next version of Maxwell coming in June". (Not maybe/perhaps/eventually/etc..)

Of course there might be a chance, they didn't mean June 2011. If thats the case, fine.

If not, and I was a company, developing a software, I'd deny any information I'm getting pointed at that is telling lies about the software I was developing.

So, I take it a new Version will be released next week, why would Next Limit let betatesters officially misinform trustworthy users.. 8)

so excited, next week, Next Limit.

cheers

There was no announcement from NL that we get a new version in June so there is no reason to get disappointed.
However, today it is Friday and it is still early.

Come on now,
The summer updates always came sometime between May-July, so there's still plenty of time :)

Anyways, I'd rather wait a bit longer and get a solid update, rather than get a Autodesk/Graphisoft-style update where the only major change would be a new version number and a new splash screen

Don't shoot the messenger, but I understand that it is likely to be released in the autumn sometime, once it has been fully tested. I know no more, so don't press me for details.

Hehe, didn't you see the subject of this thread? [New version of Maxwell in June?]

Perhaps they were referring to the updated Houdini plugin released a few days ago.
