Darn those look good!....mmmm..... nice to see a small turntable animation and how the scraches react to the light :-)
It would be good if they danced around like real scratches.
Good work!

Sorry i can'f afford the computer power right now. Other things need to be rendered :) But you are welcome to try it.

I'm not uploading the materials to the MXM gallery because the textures are 86 Mb. But i'm hosting them on my own webspace, for everyone on the forum here.
As soon as Next Limit adds a rotation setting to the MXED i'll upload the material to the MXM gallery. Or is there a good reason why they won't..? (i get no response to this question :()

This is the package (3 materials)

Btw i think these are the building blocks for any (naturally) scratched material. So also for plastic and glass for example. (doing a test now  )

I know. That's why i asked why MXED doesn't have a rotation setting in the UV box. Or would maxwell mess up the image aswell?
Reading the topic you send me it's just a photoshop flaw and doing it correct via Maxwell wouldn't be very difficult. If i understand it correctly :)

This is clean glass with a roughness of 5. Uses the same scratch map as the chrome:
