Greetings. When setting up a rendering scene in Sketchup pro 8, does each emitter geometry need to have a distinct material ( and name) assigned to it,
or is it possible to assign the same emitter material to several distinct geometries?

Either is fine, if you assign the same emitter material to several objects, they will be controlled with one slider when using Multilight.
Separate emitter materials will create one slider per material.
