Hello,
Could somebody point me in a direction to some tutorials/documents regarding working with Realflow and Maxwell. I know about the upcoming seminar, I have booked for both parts.

But I wonder if there is online resources at the moment. Very interested in Maxwell mesher. Have tried it a few times, but miss seeing some particle cloud representation of the fluid before you send it to meshing.

Is the current workflow to import .bin sequences to a 3D-package, build the enviroment and set the camera. Export to Studio. Import .bin sequence in Maxwell Mesher and tweak mesh settings?

I have read about the new plugin for C4D which will speed up the connection between RealFlow and Maxwell, looking forward to that.

Best Regards,

Hello Kevron,

Yes, the workflow is like you comment: import the .Bin files into your 3D application (using the RealFlow plugin) and apply to that object some Maxwell meshing (or particles) properties.

On the Webinar you will see this workflow clearly explained on Maya.

In Studio, you can use the >Object>Create Extension Object loaders to import your .Bin files in order to mesh them, render them as particles, or load even fluild meshes or realwaves objects.

You can get more in depth explanation on this page (and subpages) from our online Documentation resource:

http://support.nextlimit.com/display/ma ... ntegration

And yes, the next version of the Cinema4D will also reinforce the fluid integration between Maxwell and RF for that platform.

I hope you enjoy the Webinar, and let me know if you have any other question about this.

Best regards
