Hard to believe that the 3960K is worth double the cost over the 3930K. Only difference seems to be 100Mhz stock speed and 12MB vs 15MB cache.

the extra cache seems to be nearly worthless for rendering ...and maybe needs a bit more vcore too

i was hoping for some oc'ed 8-cores in a sr-3... but looking at these prices...

it would be great if the sr-3 can clock the E5-2650 or 2660 - but i think this won't happen...
so maybe two 6-cores will be enough for me...
