Hi guys, I posted this over at the Rhino forum but have not had any responses. Are any of you rendering 3D images- either to be used with special glasses or glasses free on the new monitors?
I am looking for info on how to go about trying this out in Rhino/Maxwell- so any tips/suggestions would be most welcomed!

Thanks!
Cary

I've done this before with Maxwell via the Cinema 4D plug-in, both with red-green glasses and the 'cross-eyed' technique (both are pretty effective, but with their own drawbacks.)

For the distance between the eyes/cameras, either refer to anthropometric data or just measure your own eyes and position 2 cameras accordingly. Have both the cameras pointing at the same target so they're not parallel. Then just render both images. For the cross-eye technique, just place the images side-by-side. For using coloured glasses, you'll need to combine them and tweak the blending in Photoshop, I found videos on YouTube to help.
