Is there an easy way to set up a batch rendering so I can get a single scene at every hour of the day (8 a.m. - 8 p.m.)

Thanks!

you need to animate the light in your 3d programm and export per frame one mxs
use common batch render of maxwell to render the sequence

using one mxs is not possible

 New option in the main menu to launch a scene in network (Render/ Add Scene to Network Queue). It launches the monitor (or uses the existing monitor if there is one running on the same machine) and opens the job wizard automatically, lining up a new job with the current scene. Of course there must be one manager and at least one Rendernode running in the network to make it work.

 New preference to set a minimum amount of time (in minutes) to save to disk. Using this new preference it is possible to improve the performance in systems where the writing process is very slow. For example, if the output folder is on a USB stick, it may be better not saving to disk during the first sampling levels, but rather when a certain amount of time has passed. By default the value is set to 0 which means that Maxwell Render saves to disk as usual (i.e. when a new SL is reached).

could we get some clarification as to where these settings/options are? i haven't seen any preferences through "main menu?" or job wizard that align with any of this.... what am i overlooking?

I am not seeing this option anywhere either. Where is it in studio? There is no file preferences in studio. There is edit preferences general, but nothing there about setting telling the render at what sl to write to disk. I really would like to use this feature. Im in 2.0.3 by the way.

It's not in Studio. Check Maxwell.exe ;)

Ok thanks I see it now. So if I am using studio and I launch the render from there how can I use this feature? Is it something that when set with maxwell exe it stays that way for every render? I will try for myself to see, but just thought I would ask to make sure.
