Wondering if someone can help me... I've saved an image (could be png, tif, jpg) from mxcl, but when I open it in Photoshop the colours look completely different.

Why does this happen? Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a way of matching or calibrating the colours?

Thanks.

Sounds like your colour settings in Photoshop aren't preserving rgb profiles when you open your image. If you look under tone mapping in Maxwell Render I think it defaults to sRGB. A lot of people have Photoshop set to Adobe RGB which isn't a problem if you have PS's Colour Management Policy set to Preserve Embedded Profiles. If you have it set to Convert to Working Space it will convert to whatever yours is which would explain the shift. HTH.
