Is maxwell render 2.0 64 bit in mac osx snow lepoard on an intel macbook pro?

Today any Mac with at least Intel core2duo processor supports 64bit.

Mac OS 10.5.8

When I open up MXS Studio it says 32 bit. Maybe the renderer is 64 bit but MXS is not?
