Hello,

yesterday evening i installed RC3 and did a quick test with a simple scene and one emitter.
On my first try the render was quite dark but i could make out the light distribution.
So i went back to C4D, increased the emitter power and shutter time and now nothing renders anymore.
The Scene description states that no materials, emitters or anything are present in the scene.

I could not get the scene to work again. Even after restarting ...

Anyone experienced this?

I have a similar problem, from the plugin the mxi is created but there is no picture in the renderer, all black but it seems to calculate(the progress bar is mooving). The same scene exported to obj renders in studio.
Im verry unhappy, studio might be great, but thats not what was promissed, a working plugin should be a priority, as most costumers say so.

Do i need to instal RC3 over the previous files? I did a clean install of RC3 , might this be the problem??

kizo: I always do clean installs with software updates and usually a reboot of my system but don't know if this is your problem.

Sometimes, even with Beta, the old .mxs file would not get overwritten correctly. A simple test is to give your file name in the plugin a different name. Or, time permitting, delete the old .mxs file before pressing the render button.

I have found the plugins' basic funtions work (within the documented limitations).
