Hey guys,

just having a problem with a scene is was playing around with recently. Its an issue that i have had on a couple of other pieces aswell. I have everything set up fine in C4D but when i hit render SV i get an error message saying that:

ERROR: - UVW channels ( 1 ) on object "above window piece 1" not enough for material "preview"
</tt>

ERROR: - Render Failed

(See picture 1) http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y199/D ... enshot.jpg

I then went back and checked my setup but i have texture tags and all...

(see picture 2)

Another thing was that when i simply turned the offending pieces off other bits were getting the same error message!

Any help would be much appreciated as im screwed if this were to happen while under pressure for time.

Hi ST3 try deleting all material tags and should be rendering fine, and if you have custom mxm with bitmaps you need to create a cinema material with the same bitmap for every custom mxm material who has a bitmap included and apply to the objects with the same custom mxm.
Hope it helps.

tbh i cant see how this would solve the problem as i would have to put them all back on again before i can render....

are you suggesting that i delete the c4d texture tags or the maxwell material tags?

If you built your custom MXM with bitmaps, eg. brick.jpg and brickbump.jpg, you need to create a C4D material with the same bitmaps that you used (brick.jpg, brickbump.jpg) and assign both the custom MXM and the C4D material to the objects.
If you have a empty C4D material tag into the object M~R throw an error.
Hope it help.
