Hi

I'm using the Archicad to C4D plugin and then hitting render with MW.

Crashes C4D.

Anyone know of this and how to fix it?

When I create a simple cube and assign the Maxwell Render Settings tag it goes to the render. When I use the imported geometry from AC and assign the Maxwell Render Settings tag I get a 'Please enter a filename for saving dialog'.

Where do I set this filename?

Hi Adri.

Can´t answer to why the program crashes for you. I´m having crashes now and than but i´m not sure what´s causing it. Usually only Maxwell goes, sometimes it brings down C4D as well.

As for the filename, you need to enter a name in the File Options in Maxwell Render Settings tab.

If you still get the same message, it´s an old bug still present. What you need to do than, is to save and restart C4D. After that it should work again.

Many thanks for your help. I can now get it working but if I forget to save and then drop out of C4D then it crashes...not a good situation at all!!!

One question. I'm putting a Maxwell Camera into the scene and setting it's shutter to 1000th sec and the aperture to f11. That should render a daylit scene rather dark. However it's coming in too bright.

Any suggestions anyone?
