Its a bit strange...

It seems that with the new plug the diffusion channel instead of being linked to the roughness settings as it should be in reality generates an emitter material.

Has anybody had some experience of that kind?

Nope sorry, it works how suppose to be work (at least in R10), the only thing that I don´t like is the roughness associated with diffusion channel it´s a bit destructive I think, it should be associated with reflection channel.

I dont know about that, but I had a custom mxm with a wood texture on one of my objects, and for some reason it started using a custom emitter I had on another object even though all the links were pointing to the wood material. Once I deleted the custom mxm emitter off of the other object it worked fine. Something is not right.
