when i try to render it keeps saying:
please enter file name for saving!

i have saved the file have given a path to it and a name.
still it says that.

what can i do wrong?
before it did render, but it was all black despite i had correct sky settings. then i rechanged the settings and now i have this error message...

what do i wrong?

I get the all black thing with R10 and all white with R9.6 ! Hmmm....

I am sure I must be missing something obvious as other people appear to be getting proper output but I'm sure I have things set OK.

Sorry I can't help with the file name thing - I don't get that.

i did get out 2 testrenderings ok, but most are just black despite any setting:-(

and now nothing works...
i give up for today.

edit: ok i think ifound a solution myself: on windows i deleted the folder called macxosx(i is in the winplugin!!!) and be also sure to NOT unzip the v10 or v9.6 dlls on win. they seem to be ONLY for osx. at least now it renders.
still i hope the cinemaplugin will be handled with more and faster updates to be equal up the maya plugin.

You need the dynamic library. I unzipped them and they work fine.

when i have the v10 libary i get this annoying massage all the time and cant render. without it seems to work, at least for a small fast test.

i will try again tomorrow in the morning wheni am in my office again.

.i am working with cinema v10 and it works perfect, but i had to unzip v10 dll into cinema - plugins - cinemaxwell folder.
.it wasn´t working before this step.

.yes....and I deleted macxosx folder...i´m quite confused of mac folders purpose in the win plugin.

same problem here (9.5), after saving with a new c4d project filename (auto increment).
restarting c4d did it for me...

however, the new plugin is NICE!
