Hmmm... I tried straight rendering with maxwell - didn't work - i think you need to reassign and recreate all the mats as mxms.

This is one of my personal favorite scenes. Pascal is the MAN.

I think I could dig that scene up somewhere and give it a go. If I understand the new plug correctly, you cannot do the decals straight out of the C4D materials like they were set up here. Many materials would have to be re-made (and even possibly aligned in Studio only). Also, if I remember correctly, this scene uses procedurals, mixed textures and AO (dirt shader at the time). Again, I'm not sure how well the plug will handle the particular procedurals and it cannot use AO at all. The short version of all that is it will not be a quick conversion (open and hit render) or an apples to apples comparison exactly.

edit: Boris beat me to it ... did you get any errors, just curious what happened?

No errors at all!
Just renders at default yellow diffuse material. BTW, i applied a skymap tag to sky, it works perfectly with the image supplied with this scene.
The scene becomes lit by the sky. Only thing - saving took VERY long...
