A lot has already been said, but just a couple of basic thoughts on the condition of the new plug-in.

First, anything entered into the plug-in dialog box is still not saving. Like time, date, sky properties and location.

Second, the camera selection pull down that we used to have worked great, what is the sense in removing it? There was something very nice about being able to select the camera without having your main view in C4D showing it. A lot of us set the camera view and then go back to a generic perspective view to continue adding detail or texturing the model.

Here is a weird one. The PC version has a "Command Line Options" line in the output tab, just as before. In the MAC version this line is missing! Strange since the plug in file is the same for both PC and MAC, so I do not know why it would not show up.

Speaking of the MAC version, a UB version will be most welcome when it comes.

Finally, please stop suggesting using Studio as a work-arround, it is not, it is a completely new workflow.

All this and I am still trying to produce my first rendering with 1.1

Thanks NL but please keep going, there is still work to do.

My mistake, is seems that the PC version does save the settings in the plug-in dialog. I could have sworn that it did, not. I will try it again on the MAC tonight. I do not see a reason why PC and MAC would work differently as they both use the same plug in file but then there is that missing command line.

Hmmm.
