Hey everybody,

I am relatively new to Maxwell, was able to check out a beta version a couple months back and now bought RC5. It seems to me (correct me if I am wrong) that until now there is no "real" documentation about the workflow with plugins in different programs ?

Started by doing some fairly routine stuff in Cinema, but got stuck trying to scale and map textures. (Textures show, but refuse to scale). I am aware that in the current version there are lots of workarounds, just reading through the forums show that. Thought the program documentation would help.

Tthe questions are :

- Is there a tutorial for RC5 and Cinemaxwell 0.7b ? Or something close to that ?
- Do I really have to wait for the full version for full documentation ? The documentation that can be downloaded is still beta-something.

I would appreciate any kind of information.

Hi

As i remember (and i could be wrong) there's no specific documentation about the workflow between C4D and Maxwell, but if you have any questions feel free to ask them here and we will try to help you as best as we can to solve them

My answers are..
- Not that i'm aware of no, but ask us and we'll do our best to help you.
- I'd say yes to that one as producing a full manual as the program/plugins are undergoing such daily changes due to developement would be a waste of resources. Manuals and good helpfiles often comes out when the product is finalized as Maxwell should be soon..

You said you were doing texture scaling, well that i do think is a bug in the current RC5 (correct me if i'm wrong). But scaling textures will probably make no difference right now, if anyone else has a better answer feel free to add it here plz.

Btw, did you try to scale your textures on your imported scene in Maxwell Studio ? i'm not sure that works but it might be worth a try.
